The JWS religion has been a commercialized farce /scam in the vein of charlatanism for more than 140 years..

It started out that way and who knows maybe it will end that way as well.

I remember the old brown reasoning book

but has the thoughts been 'changed'?

Probably at least 50% of the Reasoning Book is "old light" now. That's how fast things are changing.

The "last days" have been going on since jesus died according to some 'select' scriptures!

    just saying!

yes, eyeuse2badub, every comment against the jw organization's mindless talk about the nearness of the end is also a comment against the Bible. Come quickly Lord Jesus, indeed!

There was no pattern of events which was strictly unique starting at 1914.

Exactly....that's the key. No pattern of events.

The bible just has some vague bullshit about wars, famines, earthquakes that can be mapped to pretty much every time in history.

Now if the bible predicted verifiable things, such as " And there will be a massive earthquake on this date, at this location", or " And on this year, there will be X amount of people dying of starvation"... well....not we're talking.

But no, it's just vague nonsense.
