This goes to show how easy it is to make some fictitious entity into whatever you want it to be. This thing they call jesus is god in one passage, then it is not in another. All to confuse the masses, making them dependent on the one that is set out to enslave the whole world. The truth is, jesus is nothing more than the archetype of the perfect slave that we are supposed to follow and be perfect slaves to the reptilians.

If that's what you want, then by all means go ahead and continue worshiping that thing.

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

There are lots of things said in so called, Holy books.

Why should we believe any of the things they say?

"Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another." (Surah 48:29)

Is this valid or invalid? If so/not, why?

    Holy books.
Why should we believe any of the things they say?

    Their teachers are dead.

    Muhammad is dead

    Confucius is dead

    Buddha is dead

Zeus is dead (buried in Crete according to Josephus)

No one disputes the above. Christians are unique in the claim that Jesus walked out of his tomb and is alive to this very day. They claim that he met with hundreds of people after his death... in his body.

This is a unique claim and immediately begs the question: Why would anyone believe a person who has died when there is someone who has conquered death available to you? The teachings of those who have died didn't seem to make any difference to them in the end.

The Resurrection is what caused people in the 1st Century to walk away, if need be, from everything they knew in the hope that they could one day walk out of their own tombs.

The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Hebrews 1:3

    How about answering my question?

If Jesus was once the logos as a spirit along with the Father.

Then he was incarnated as a human.

Then he was resurrected in his human body and glorified back in heaven ....

How can it be said that 'He is the same yesterday, and today and forever'?

Sea Breeze - The claim that Jesus rose from the grave is nothing but a bald assertion.

The only 'evidence' is to be found in the contradictory stories in the Bible.

cofty: why do you call that "evidence" is there not a more precise term?

Hebrews 13:8"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever

I agree. Jesus is a myth, yesterday and today and forever

cofty: why do you call that "evidence" is there not a more precise term?

Because the testimony of an ancient book that contains contradictory accounts is not actual evidence in any sensible use of the word.
