Terry's here! We went to the Christmas party at my mom's nursing home but she was very out of it so we didn't stay long. Mom had an "episode" or what they call TIA yesterday (no one called me, which ticks me off), and she still hasn't come completely out of it. That's where the patient will suddenly go nonresponsive and sometimes completely unconscious. I think it's like a mini-stroke, and Mom has had quite a few in the past couple of months. They come in clusters, I think. The doctor will see her tomorrow and I'll get an update then.
In the meantime, my schedule is this: I have to go to work tomorrow because it's Friday, which is Donut Day at my office and if I don't show up the natives get snarly. I'm planning to stay until about 1:00 p.m. and then go back to the house and get Terry. So if anything is going on tomorrow afternoon, let me know, otherwise we'll see you tomorrow evening at the Bradford. A little bird told me that while Terry and I are out partying, Big Tex and the kids will be getting my Christmas present(s).
