Just dropping in to say that scholar is the kind of guy who gives educated people a bad name. It shouldn't be long now before someone points out the old joke about academic credentials that goes roughly like this:
BS stands for Bull Sh**
MS stands for More Sh**
PhD stands for Piled Higher and Deeper
Based on my life experience, I can assure you this is sometimes close to the mark. My observation: the more a person insists on including such initials after his name and demands these credentials be recognized, the less common sense he possesses and the more difficulty he has in negotiating real life.
And yes, scholar, I have earned some initials after my name.
