    It’s always the same weather for all sides, that doesn’t mean there isn’t an impact. Lower turnout favours conservatives in elections and bad weather means lower turnout.

    Lower turnout favours conservatives in elections - where did you get this idea from?

    Conservative voters tend to be older. Wouldn't the bad weather have impacted more on those voters than the younger Remain voters?

    @SBF - is there any scholarly studies which show that the younger (on average) Remainers were more impacted by bad weather than the typically older Brexiteers in June 2016?

    ^^^ I'm having a hard time understanding this, TBH.

    In the US, bad weather on Election day has been interpreted to be good for Republicans (conservative) and bad for Democrats (liberal). Especially true for the South, where on Election day the weather is carefully watched due to the larger percentage of African American voters (more often Democrat).

    Adverse weather. .. Conservatives have a car. Liberals have bicycles. Conservatives have control of their life. Liberals rely on somebody else( government) to pick up the slack.

    This ought to calm the debate (;

    Why does every topic on here about a useful subject dive into American politics? I mean Ecclesiastes though not inspired has a statement right.."there is nothing new under the sun. One generation comes another goes..". Stop trying to follow governmental systems that date to roman times!!! So many political parties are a rehash of roman and earlier greek systems.. are they here? Nope. While Some obsess with government and how foreign people are idiots.. (They are not they are HUMAN) the rest of the world is trying to make 2021 are year of recovery.

    Like the Rocketeer, but more political.

    There is a subtle flaw in the WT's king of the north interpretation. (Of course, there might be other major flaws also.) But the one I am referring to is based on a mis-rendering of a conjunction at Dan 11:25. See this post for an explanation.
