Yeah, a while back, someone else here mentioned that the JW religion makes individuals who are very good at maintaining pretense.

I too went back for family and to try and stop the abuse I endure, except the abuse is worse for they don’t believe me which I can understand but also when I was out my wife lied to my kids and said I was persecuting them not sure how since I said nothing and work so much but one of the kids said they had to sneak around to meeting etc.. How does one sneak off to meetings when I already know the time and place but I digress.
Anyway trying to go to meetings my head hurts and it very difficult to go but i know that I’m loosing my family and if I don’t try I’ll may loose them forever so I push on. In the end it’s my health that suffers.

lve seen many dubs leave and go back knowing its all a crock.Most live a double life.The main reason they either stay in or go back is for friends and family. -

Many people leave the religion but the religion never leaves you.
Unless you have taken the time and effort to research what you have been indoctrinated to believe all of those years.
The trouble is many R&F JW`s are intellectually lazy when it comes to analysing JW doctrine vs scripture ,they have got into the habit of just believing everything the G.B. says or what`s in the WT.

WingCommander nailed it- I bet he's an atheist who just is too used to JW cult-living, like
a longterm prisoner suddenly released
and unable to cope with the real world.
But I wish him the best, and hope that his love for family will make it all worthwhile.
And keep him from going psycho.
