It makes sense with the magazine business dying, Lett was telling the JWs to pony up and start paying for their delusional paradise. Monies have to come from somewhere besides their rental/monopoly game and everything else the JW slaves have given them.

Only religion can do this - you're so right, pontoon.

The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses is nothing more than a group of men who have been put into a position of public oversight and alleged spiritual authority of a religious denomination - in other words, front-men or puppets. Individually, not one of them has any financial management or business expertise which would qualify their running of a multi-billion dollar corporation. They are simply the issuers & enforcers of WTBTS's laws and regulations.

I wonder how much of the $2b in property sales from New York have they actually been able see as disposable cash? I wonder how much they have had to pay to plug the hole of their investment losses of the years? how much do they pay their fund managers? One thing is for sure their business model as a huge printing company must still haemorrhage money at eye watering amounts vast Bethel HQ's all over the world with huge printing and bookbindery installations and all the ancillary departments that are required must be close to obsolete now, the general public dont want their literature, WT and Awakes magazines only printed a few months a year and no hard bound books anymore, their recent austerity cuts clearly empathise that, and the remaining staff they employ at HQ's all around the still need feeding watering and medical care, the remaining Bethel HQ's around the world can only be used for one thing though; retirement homes, thats what Chelmsford seems to be for, more austerity to come but their golden goose is still laying though with the forced sells offs of KH's that will continue.

Had a letter read out on Tuesday ... (on here, thanks to wifibandit)

"Go to Chelmsford! (New London HQ) Go to Bittacy Hill! (Old London HQ) Last chance to see the mighty printing press in London HQ before shutdown. Rollup Rollup Rollup!"

Straight afterwards 4 dopey braindead sisters are organising a car party to go and visit 200 miles away.

    There's no hope!

My big curiosity is this : I wonder how much of that 2 billion $$$$ is being deposited by the WT Society in off shore bank accounts where it can be hidden in the Cayman Islands or some other secret location ? It's a question I feel that begs an answer. If only I was a fly on the wall. Perhaps something to research - if anything can be discovered

    Even he seems skeptical.

A corporation expands from using the profits they have made. A company does not go to its workers to ask for money to expand unless some percentage of ownership is given

Any percentage of zero is still.......ZERO. which is where WTBTS is hopefully headed.
