  Protests are meaningless in the United States now. One of the chief reasons is, in recent times, there seems to be a protest every 2 seconds for everything under the sun. It's not like the 1960's with the civil rights movement or the anti-war movement in protest of America's involvement in Vietnam.

  One of the main differences is that the protesters in those movements seemed to be educated on the issues and had a real plan of action. I find it depressing to see independent journalists interviewing current protesters only to expose the fact that current protesters have no idea of why they are protesting or what their end goal is.

  Yeah, "protesting" has jumped the shark. I think a lot of these people go on marches because they want to be part of something 'historic' but all the meaningful marches like the Civil Rights ones have been done. All your left with now is political conditioning to get people used to marching in the street but many times they have no idea what the purpose even is and can't articulate the goals.

  There's a difference between chanting at a rally that your party has organized and paid for the private use of an area and taking over someone's office or causing a disruption in a restaurant. That is not protesting, it's an intimidation tactic.

  The left resorts to mob protests because they can't win the arguments over ideas. When democracy doesn't go their way, they want to change the rules, bypass the processes or whatever to get their way.

  They are the fascist mob right now.

  There are no more retarded people among Left-wingers than among Conservatives (Q-Anoners, Alt-Righters, Alex Jones' admirers, militias etc.). Dems represent half of the nation, not some marginals. GOP completely ignores needs and interests of these people and tries to secure its power using every loophole in the US constitutional design (e.g., gerrymandering, obstruction of moderate Obama's judicial nominees and filling courts with extremely partisan judges under Trump). Its supporters troll and insult those in the opposite camp. Oh dear, so why do you have a cold civil war? Surely, that's all because Dems are mentally diseased fascists and because of OBAMA - and there is no fault on your side! Right?

  Protesting doesn’t work because there aren’t enough people that care. The media tries to push the narrative but Vietnam and the 50s black movement was millions of people protesting across the nation. Now CNN is reporting on a bus load of radical feminists and a reporter whipping them up.

  100 voluntary arrests is laughable, the 50/60s had 100 people killed and many more arrested and jailed for months practically every weekend.
