WT claims that Satan was thrown out of heaven in October 1914 precipitating WW! and the end times. A small problem with that is WW1 started on July 28th 1914 whilst Satan was still in heaven picking his nose.

How did we not see this and waste years of precious life? Have I missed something?

If that drunken paedophile protecting despot, TOMO the turd says it is so, then it is so, whether it makes sense or not.

Yes. It's Orwellian but that's how the GovBod (Piss be upon them), roll.

We had this same point just a few weeks back, Iā€™m thinking we should be seeing some familiar faces joining our thread pretty soon. šŸ˜‰

When Russell was alive (at least prior to 1915) the timing of the start of war wasn't a problem. That is because Russell taught that the time of the end began in 1799, that Christ's presence began in 1874, and that Christ's rule rule take full sway by October 1914. Thus when the war started in July 14, 1914 that reassured the Bible Students that end of gentile rule was very near. Years before 1914 Russell said (in an issue of the Watchtower or Watch Tower) that the nations of Europe were preparing to start a major war, and Russell said that a massive war between the countries of Europe would take place by 1914. In that regard about the war he made a prediction which came true (though some other aspects which he predicted pertaining to the outcome of the war were incorrect). Rutherford kept those teachings about 1799, 1874, and 1914 for many years. Later the WTS moved the 1799 and 1874 dates (or what was said to have happened in those years) to 1914, thus redefining what 1914 what meant.

The whole WW1 Armageddon thing was an after thought to save the false date. The prediction was never a world war, it was the end times when god was supposed to bring and end to mans rule and bind Satan and reinstate his rule. But when that failed they fell back on WW1 was a sign that the end times had started and then it would end in 1918, 1925, 1975 and the list goes on. To say WW1 was a hit for their prediction or a manifestation of them being right about Satan being thrown down to earth is a complete divergence of what they actually said. Its like a fortune teller telling you there will be a plane crash tomorrow and there is not but there was a boat that sank and claiming a hit. Its stupid, laughable and down right retarded. But look at the retards running the show over there.

You just need to use your imagination. The war in heaven starts on July 28, after Satan interferes in Earth matters one time too many (sorry, Archduke Ferdinand!) and Yahweh has gotten a bit soft and lazy, so he lets the battle go on way too long. Finally, in early October god decides enough is enough- he snaps his fingers and WHOOSH! Satan and his demons fall to Earth. Then god presses his Easy button and gets back to watching movies.

I mean, I'm no Joseph Smith, but that's not such a bad interpretation, is it?

Let's pretend Watchtower has some of this correct. Jesus dies and after a few days of proving to his followers he is alive, returns to Heaven. Jesus then spends the next 1881 years preparing a place for his followers to join him while Satan is hanging around. Why would that be allowed to happen? Is the eviction process in Heaven that time consuming?

what all these bible readers miss is, that Jesus was already in his kingdom in the first century. Colossians 1:13, an colossal oversight.
