Rebelfighter--good job! Do not underestimate the power that a sincere householder can have on a sincere JW. It happened to me when I was a young pioneer. I remember three distinct conversations I had with householders in which I had absolutely no answers and when I researched, I found out the WT was wrong. That was almost 20 years ago and I only started fading last year, but those convos have continued to run thru my mind over the years. Better late than never...I am trying to exit with spouse while my kids are still young.
Well, they came again. Really this time an Elder.

Note to self:
when a JW comes to the door grab iPad.
After they ask me about my eternal life, say, "I have a question." Open saved YouTube video of GJ
Ask if they recognize the dude
Make them watch first segment. Ask questions.
Then ask them if they have a smartphone or email.
Ask them if they would mind reviewing the video and returning so that you can ask more questions.
Text or email the video to them.
Agree for them to come the following week.
Part ways knowing you'll never see them again.

I did say to him multiple times for the sake of your child do your research. Never a JW but my introduction into the JW world was the book on Families which all but sent me as a parent through the roof. In my spare time I have advocated for both children and women.
From reading this forum I know you have a big challenge ahead of you exiting this cult and I wish you the best of luck. But stay here get advise from those who have done it and get those kids out of there

If the media had reported even just a teeny-tiny report in an obscure article somewhere in the butt-end of the world that Jehovah's Witnesses Persecuted For Standing up for Freedom of Religion!
Then that news report would be "soooooo true" and used in every Assembly and RC talk for the next ten years.

Stuckinarut2, well the "Elder" had hoped I would become a JW but the first thing he gave me to see how I would react was the book on Families. After 5 years he ended it all in an email good bye have nice life. LOL
Lieu, Yes actual video footage and actual court transcripts is apostate lies. I stand there scratching my head every time. Such denial. They want to know where the money is going, going goneeee.
