Even though they did not say that they were coming back, I bet you are on there call back list.

I remember back 15 years ago, it was easy to get householders to open their doors and give you a few minutes of their Saturday morning to discuss the Bible. When I left a few years back, on a Saturday morning when most people are home it was a "good" morning if you had one or two people even listen to your introduction let alone a whole half hour! I think the ladies who visited with you felt like they "struck gold" that day, and I believe they will not let this go so quickly.

Just to be honest, people like you scared me at the door because I was never the very studious witness. I was the witness who hated the meetings, but enjoyed the "feeling" of doing what I thought Jehovah was pleased with. I probably would have been that pioneer who stood there with her head hanging, just listening. Hopefully, you planted some doubts under those blinders they wear, you never know.

so these ladies went into JW Donut mode ...

This was always my favorite part of service.

Great job of not attacking the WTS and rather using the Catholic Church & the Mormons as examples of what disturbed you.

I agree that you will not be completely dismissed as a RV. If there is a slow day while these women are out in FS, and everyone has done their regular RV’s; calling on you will definitely be brought up as an option before they head back to the KH to end the service day.

As a good Boy Scout, you should ‘Be Prepared’

If you wanted to guarantee another visit, you could have said that they brought up some interesting points to think about. Throw them a bone to get them to come back and talk to you again. But maybe you did that. Planting the seed for your next RV with them. Hey, three call backs and you have yourself a Bible Study Jim! I hope you are counting your time on this ;P

Please immediately move to Southern California, into my mother's territory, and stay home every Saturday until she calls on you. Then proceed as you did with these two ladies.

    Great job!!

Great ending, loved the Koresh tie-in.

... I retorted that David Koresh loved to read that verse to his few followers at Waco ... who believed that only they as a chosen few had found the True path to life ... she closed her Bible with a snap ...

    heh heh heh heh heh.....
