Do WT Publications Make Us Feel Unworthy, Unlovable and Helpless?

Well think about it,, the Governing Body use guilt tripping as a powerful tool to keep the rank & file JW serving them, and they are not shy about it. Remember the wife of Lot, and other bible stories are used often as warnings about what will happen to you if you don't do as we say.

Add to this that they harp on scriptures that make us sinners and worthy of death unless we turn around and obey them, Jehovah their corporation sock puppet is going kill every defector who doesn't follow corporation values and guide lines.

Yes almost totally worthless as slaves for the Watchtower Corporation with no complaining allowed(or face a judicial meeting), so just suck it up and forget about it. It puts people under great stresses and makes them have harmful emotions towards themselves.

You know that kind of servile attitude towards this corporation where they can direct you to shun your own family to please them has got to very harmful towards ones psychological health and well being. All your creativity gets crammed into your shadow(psychologically speaking) and you loose touch with your total self because you don't know the real you because of all this denial and guilt tripping.

I takes time to get rid of those feeling so keep up the good work toward putting a new personality by doing research that exposes all their bull shit and maybe even seeing a very good psychologist if you can afford it.

Religion and guilt go hand in hand. Cults use the charitable part of a person heart and take it all for themselves. Slick marketing by a worldwide realestate company.

w08 6/15 p29 Through faith in “one act of justification,” both anointed Christians and members of the “great crowd” of “other sheep” can be “declared righteous”—the former for life in heaven as joint heirs with Christ and the latter as God’s friends, with a view to surviving “the great tribulation.”

It is interesting the difference in Anointed and Other Sheep. Anointed have it, that is declared righteous and they even get "raptured" (although they refuse to use that word) Measly other sheep sort of get it a little bit but not quite. Now they WILL get that declaration, they just have to endure now, endure through GT endure 1000 yrs, endure final test ......whew, that tired me out just typing it! But don't worry they WILL get that righteousness....Unless there is new light! 😎

or take the recurring wording in this week's wt "study": 4/017 /23. People like Peter, Paul, Elders have "assignments", defined by "privileges" that can be changed, withdrawn, always depending on some undefined higher power, ultimately the Organisation.

Here's another example of what I am looking for:

"Loyalty to family should never be greater than loyalty to Jehovah"

This is from the outline for the Circuit Overseer's service talk from September 2017 through February 2018, which was recently leaked and posted by WiFi Bandit:

Directions like that erode a persons sense of autonomy and locus of control resulting in learned helplessness.
