I am taking notes for various purposes and have added this thread into my "JW.shocking" folder, for it is truly shocking.
They have a HUGE building project that costs hundreds, if not millions of hours to thousands of volunteers and, in the end... it is not a need.
They often use 2 Cor 9:26,27 where the apostle Paul was saying that he didn't run aimlessly, beating the air. And yet, this is exactly what they are doing by carelessly using the time of everyone involved in such a frivolous project.
You know, the expression: Serve where the need is greater? Surely there were things much more important than building a colossal facility for a few hundred people who ALREADY had such facilities in the first place!
I find this absolutely shocking.
