Just appalling isn't it. People who have been naïve enough to invest some even 50plus years into it. I guess they get to the point that they are so heavily invested emotionally in it that it is all they know, nowhere else to turn or divert their time and attention to.

I truly think that`s what keeps many of the oldies still in BS , the time in many years and effort invested in the religion and their pride in not admitting they have been conned or fooled all of these years and admitting their mistakes keeps them captives to a religion they cant break free from .
