Let's take a mini breakdown of what is probably my favorite quote of the Jws Cult.. I mean organization that was dropped in this infamous Watchtower article. Under the study header Lessons of what we can learn from the book of Leviticus, on paragraph 13 we get to the real reason was this articles or heck whole issue of this magazine was getting to and it starts with this backhistory

    JEHOVAH BLESSES HIS ORGANIZATION

    13. According to Leviticus 9:23, 24, how did Jehovah show his approval of the priesthood?

13 Fourth lesson: Jehovah is blessing the earthly part of his organization. Consider what happened in 1512 B.C.E. when the tabernacle was set up at the foot of Mount Sinai. (Ex. 40:17) Moses presided over a ceremony to install Aaron and his sons as priests. The nation of Israel assembled to witness the priests presenting their first animal sacrifices. (Lev. 9:1-5) How did Jehovah show his approval of the newly installed priesthood? As Aaron and Moses blessed the people, Jehovah caused fire to consume the remainder of the sacrifice on the altar.—Read Leviticus 9:23, 24.

Ok, the next paragraph shows why we needed this history lesson

14 What was accomplished by the awesome display at the installation of the high priest? Jehovah thereby showed his full support of the Aaronic priesthood. When the Israelites saw this clear evidence of Jehovah’s backing of the priests, they had good reason to give them full support. Is that relevant to us? Yes! The priesthood in Israel was just a shadow of a much greater priesthood. Christ, the greater High Priest, has a royal priesthood of 144,000, who will serve alongside him in heaven.—Heb. 4:14; 8:3-5; 10:1.

Ok again, I feel we are gonna be dropped some serious Spiritual Wisdow of BullS$it. Or meat in due season.

And in the next few paragraphs we get this wisdom.

15-16. How has Jehovah shown his approval of “the faithful and discreet slave”?

15 In 1919, Jesus appointed a small group of anointed brothers as “the faithful and discreet slave.” That slave takes the lead in the preaching work and gives Christ’s followers “food at the proper time.” (Matt. 24:45) Do we see clear evidence of God’s approval of the faithful and discreet slave?

16 Satan and his world have done much to make the work of that faithful slave challenging, even impossible, to carry out from a human standpoint. Despite two world wars, relentless persecution, global economic crises, and unjust treatment, the faithful and discreet slave has continued to provide spiritual food for Christ’s followers on earth. Think of the abundance of spiritual food available today, free of charge, in more than 900 languages! It is undeniable evidence of divine backing. Consider further proof of Jehovah’s blessing: the preaching work. The good news truly is being preached “in all the inhabited earth.” (Matt. 24:14) Without a doubt, Jehovah is guiding and generously blessing his organization today.

The level of Nonsense aka bull sh$t is out of hand. Also please see how many times Evidence is used and when no evidence is provided, we all know the organization loved using the term facts or evidence when then giving you about as much evidence as Jesus invisible presence. In 1919 if we get in our DeLorean from back to the Future and see what God's organization was talking and printing the faithful slave was good old Russell and when the infamous book of the finished mystery was making it rounds in 1919 and showing all that Russell was that slave. So not only is the gods organization lieing through it's teeth, it is putting words and actions in Jesus ✋, wow really this religion is the truth.

Then comes the be all end all quote for the ages. In paragraph 17

17 We do well to ask ourselves, ‘Am I grateful to be associated with the earthly part of Jehovah’s organization?’ Jehovah has given us evidence that is as convincing as the literal fire from heaven back in the days of Moses and Aaron. We truly have much to be thankful for. (1 Thess. 5:18, 19) How can we show our support for the organization that Jehovah is using? By following the Bible-based direction we are given in our publications and at our meetings, assemblies, and conventions. In addition, we can show our support by sharing as fully as possible in the preaching and teaching work.—1 Cor. 15:58.

Oh yes you read that right Jehovah has given us evidence that is as ....cough cough Merriam Webster dictionary

    Definition of as

    (Entry 1 of 9)

1: to the same degree or amount

Jehovah has given us evidence that is as convincing as the literal fire from heaven back in the days of Moses and Aaron. We truly have much to be thankful for.

Really can anything under need to be said literal b.s. look at the context of the last paragraphs so all the evidence is the so called spiritual food the over 900 languages and remember free of charge, so all of this is evidence of fire excuse me literal evidence of equal value of fire coming down from heaven, really Stephen king back in his drug days could not come up with this sh$t.

And of course you gotta to love how the organization continues to talk down to it's members by asking a question then answering the question and then asking a question which they just answered. The truth is strong 💪 here.

And the final paragraph also ends with the usual obey and support our sh$t

    18. What are you determined to do?

18 Let us be determined to apply the lessons we learned from the book of Leviticus. May we obtain Jehovah’s approval for our sacrifices to be accepted. May we serve Jehovah because we are grateful to him. May we continue to give our best to Jehovah because we love him with all our heart. And may we wholeheartedly support the organization that he is blessing today. In all such ways, we can show Jehovah that we cherish the privilege we have to serve him as his Witnesses!

Oh yes we continue to view this as Jehovah organization going all but saying what we say you obey or else. Oh yes also see how many times Jesus is used in these paragraphs, amazing this organization is pure evil and pure bullsh$t all the evidence shows That without a doubt, now that is equal to fire from heaven. Oh yes.

    Er....in a word, 'No!'

Thanks for the post Fabian. Having been done with jobo stuff for a long time, it was interesting to see that they are even more insane than ever before.

Watchtower, September 15, 1895: "Beware of "organization." It is wholly unnecessary. The Bible rules will be the only rules you will need. Do not seek to bind others' consciences, and do not permit others to bind yours."

Welcome Fabian1, i look forward to more of your posts.

And of course the bulk of what they were teaching and preaching back then in 1919 is now discarded as old light.?

    Not believed or taught

So if they were approved back then for what they believed and taught they would be discarded now as the F&DS simply because they no longer believe it or teach it .

If the FDS was appointed in 1919 then the first of those wars was over, they were not providing spiritual food during that war as they had yet to be appointed. Utter twaddle!

Mormons and Scientologists clearly have God's approval and are way more "blessed" than the WTBTS because they aren't being bombarded with paedophile lawsuits like the JW's!

They call it free?!! Oh heck no!!! Considering witnesses worldwide donate in excess of a billion dollars per year, how on earth can they call it "free"

As Aaron and Moses blessed the people, Jehovah caused fire to consume the remainder of the sacrifice on the altar

F1: with the altar now empty, a new collection of sacrifices is called for , and the 10% surtax is written into the law. and the firstborn were stripped of their right, and replaced by the tribe of levi and their contribution they now demanded, with an ever emptying altar.

The golden Rule, whoever writes the rules gets the gold. Levites.

Every religious organization that has been 'born' within the last 200 years has the same belief that they, and they alone were chosen by god as the only true religion. They all have their own version of irrefutable "evidence" pointing to that "fact". Just too bad that we, at one time, actually believed that jw's were "the truth"! Lot of wasted years, decades, half centuries!

    just saying!
