    They're not going away.

As long as witnesses are having sex with other witnesses they will keep growing.

7-9 million? If I define it as someone that, according to their own theology, would survive Armageddon if it were to happen right now, I would reckon they currently have between 800,000 and 1.2 million--no more. And that's what I expect it to be within 10 years, barring full global enslavement and communism. Of course, they will still inflate the numbers--I bet many will be counted that, according to their own theology, would die if Armageddon comes at that instant.

Wow Smiddy, I like your optimism! :) Though I think my own projections are a little more conservative.

In ten years time I would expect them to have 1 or 2 million less members, almost no printing in languages outside of English, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese. And I would expect quite a bit less printing in English too.

Concerning Bethel facilities, they've already closed so many I don't know how much more they'll really trim. But if I had to guess I would say their worldwide operations will be down another third.

Another thing I forgot to bring up was number of weekly meetings. I think, for the R&F, it will be cut to one meeting a week with an additional "special" meeting every month or so - along with a second weekly meeting only for Elders, MS, Pioneers, etc.

    A2 (possibly 5)

Meetings - one a week plus specials and less KH's.

The "refining work" and the "best use of resources" will continue to rapidly slow down the production of printed literature and focus on the cost-saving electronic "witnessing" propaganda. The numbers joining, coupled with the number of J.W.'s infants being baptized, will be greatly outweighed by the numbers of those who are fading/leaving/disfellowshipped.

I put B 1 more foreign language publications as research shows cults thrive when their literature is published in the victims "home or native" language, since the target for cults are in poor undeveloped countries with little access to education or tecnology I expect "niche" language publications to increase.. - the only thing that will ( they may also get public funds/ tax breaks to publish in minority or dying languages)

The Dark Lords have a mitigation strategy from what I read on this site: Baptize 10 year olds with the hope of trapping them in the cult forever. Born ins leave at close to a 70% rate, and that % is likely to increase in the future. The Dark Lords have apparently developed a dark and evil strategy to address it.

Shunning isn't going anywhere, as it is the two pronged approach to keeping the born ins in. Without it, all of them walk by the time they are 19.

What else can they do to spread their infection? They are screwed in the industrialized and wired nations, and the numbers they get in the emerging countries are bleeding the coffers, putting even more pressure on the undereducated, lowest income earning religious members in all the industrialized nations to provide sufficient $ to build a lot of 3rd world KHs, convention centers, and Bethels.

Lurkers and current Dubs - The Dark Lords (i.e. GB) are evil men.

    A) 5

    B) 3 - nearly none

    C) 3 - nearly none

    D) 3 - only every continent (shipping will be to expensive)

But it depends, what comes next. I think there a real big change will happen. If theres enough pressure to make changes about shunning, exspecially in the family (if they fight at the court, they tell it depends on every single person to shun, there will be no pressure to shun the family - so it's possible) then the people use this chance an run away.

Also more and more switch to tablet. It's easier to work with and you can read your mails or a book in the cong. So only some stuff for elder people and for getting new people to the cult will be printed.

But first they have to build there temple at warwick, and at the end of the year we maybe can't recognize this cult anymore.
