What is donating bone marrow like? Is it considered major surgery? How do you sign up on such a registry?

Actually being serious......I agree, donating organs is a good thing. I myself am a donor and feel if I'm dead.......who needs the organs. Let someone else have them who may prolong their life.

Very good thread. I did signed up a couple of weeks back and now carry my donor card. Another thing that is desperatly needed and I am thinking of posting another thread on it is Bone Marrow Transplants, they are so desperate for donors

The only thing is, apparnatly it is painfull, and I dont like pain but at least it may save someones life !
