Then you get these peeps that declare they know god because of some internal thing that happened or they had some experience that cannot be replicated and no one else saw. How convenient. Hallucinations.

I love the way their god is so selective and shows favouritism to some grotty old nobody who wants to feel special; attention seeking. On the other hand ignores some poor person who is genuinely seeking. What a con. It's all just wishful thinking.

Yup, and how strange the the Christian god, or Jesus, talks to Christians, Allah or Mohammed to Muslims etc etc

The experience may be very real to them, as was the Apostle Paul's brain-fart on the road to Damascus, but it is not proof of any god or Prophet to anyone else, and of course in reality is simply brain activity.

As such it only has value to the person, and they should keep quiet about it, unless accompanied by two men in white coats, then we know where we are.

Fuzzy - As such it only has value to the person, and they should keep quiet about it, unless accompanied by two men in white coats, then we know where we are.

    Agreed.

Saying that the 'holy book' tells us it's from god doesn't make it so. Circular argument.

Claiming special intuition doesn't make it so.

Claiming loads of people believe it doesn't make it so.

If we don't know the answer to something doesn't make it 'therefore, god did it'.

Oh, I could go on and on...............
