To repeat someone's name over and over when addressing them is the most ridiculous form of obsequiousness.
Maybe when someone reaches the magical number of public "Jehovahs" the giant slot machine in the sky will ding and some poor dumb bastard will be killed by a massive pouring out "blessing" in the form of gold coins .....or beer or a car or something.
