This is perfect double - speak.

The claim Jehovah protects his people. But when violence happens to ''His'' people it proves the times we live in.

    Cognitive dissonance kicks in.

Some of my family are so happy with the "respect" the general public gives to the witnesses in the aftermath of the incident.

So at the end it's honoring Jehovahs name.

    Crazy thinkers.

The constellation of the seven stars forming the Pleiades appears to be the crowning center around which the known systems of the planets revolve.... It has been suggested, and with much weight, that one of the stars of that group is the dwelling place of Jehovah and the place of the highest heavens;....

The constellation of the Pleiades is a small one compared with others which scientific instruments disclose to the wondering eyes of man. But the greatness in size of other stars or planets is small when compared to the Pleiades in importance, because the Pleiades is the place of the eternal throne of God.

I remember all those experiences various Circuit Overseers gave about Witnesses who survived various disasters simply because THEY were at a meeting when a riot, tornado, flood, etc occurred. Of course, the "bad" JWs (sick, tired, old, etc) who missed meetings died. When something did happen in service or at the hall, some said "perhaps they had a secret sin..like Achan..that blocked god's holy spirit.

some said "perhaps they had a secret sin..like Achan..that blocked god's holy spirit.

Yeah, kind of like when they intimated on their broadcasts when the COVID Plandemic was getting up to speed that following all the orders and mandates of the governing body would protect JW's from getting COVID.

""In other words, why does God permit evil.""

We all know what the JW's response to that is.

Internet has brought everything too a light. All the Old lies. Oh org is run by donations only. We don't receive money from government. Org admits their fault, not like catholic Church. There's special protection when you go on service or meetings. Oh you must attend all 3 meetings a week or you not gonna get holy spirit. They got so many into organisation cause you really couldn't do any research on org before the internet. When the time came with internet and access to information, they planted the DF arrangement so you couldn't leave without losing your family.

They also made people leaving the Borg as disassociating themselves voluntarily when falling out - of - line with JWBorg theology and/or rules.

Rather than disfellowshipping which is not in the Bible/nor scriptural,,,,the same result and punishment results in disassociating themselves. Probably to distance themselves from legal implications, of course. By making it sound as if so & so has left the Borg on his/her own accord voluntarily.
