Based on this Watchtower analogy, Jehovah should have told Satan that if he could do a better job to do so. Jehovah should have created a parallel universe, transported Satan to it, and told him to run it for a few thousand years. At the end of that time they could compare results. Everyone liking the prime universe gets to stay and everyone liking Satanville gets transported over there.

Now that sounds like a God i could understand. You should start your own religion.

One of our members wrote an excellent breakdown of the flawed logic in the WTBTS’s illustration. I just can remember who it was..

The GB would probably ask the rebellious student, likely wearing tight pants, to “stay after class.”

Of Course, the Teacher should allow the rebellious student to prove his point. If that is wrong, the Teacher should immediately show and prove the correct explanation before that class ends, not wasting any more time with that rebellious student, which affect the whole class.

The teacher should not allow the rebellious student to hijack the whole class for days, months, years , decades and centuries, during which the other students miserably fail, suffer and even die. And this is what Almighty Jah does as per WT

    Spot on! Great point!

BUT, you realise that you are committing the unforgivable sin of "using your independent thinking abilities" ?!?!

    I love this.

There are so many better ways that God could have better handled the "universal sovereignty" issue, if that ever really was a thing (which of course it wasn't, but if you're going to use something like this on JWs you have to go with it....).

I love that our "imperfect sinful minds" can come up with dozens of better solutions than the one the JWs say God used. Their "Jehovah" is puny and small-minded.

The WTS was always a corrupt apostate organization, even worse to the extent of being commercialized apostate/false prophet organization.

Just because someone says their god's spirit directed organization doesn't mean it to be true, one has to use the bible to see if these ones are inline with Scripture.

    Hi truth_b_known

That's a brilliant idea which God would have definitely opted for if there were really an issue of the sovereignty.

That would have also spared God of seeing His only begotten son dying with an excruciating pain.
