  Great experience. It is great how you made the verbally confirm that such a practice is bad. It will have to prick their conscience when they see the convention videos.

  That is a very common response. The reply is that the organisation claims to be directed by Jehovah, based on his perfect guidance. Why is it then that they need the world to show them how to behave acceptably regarding the abuse of children?

  Re disfellowshiping. One's family must shun or if the Elders learn that they have been 'talking' to a DF family member they can be shunned as well.

     Since it is against the law in most areas of the world to burn someone to death or stone them etc. as part of a belief system one can not hide behind religious freedom to deprive another of their life.

  Classic example of how their own propaganda can be used against them and how they go along with something they would normally be against because of groupthink.
