It was this video(assuming this is the one that came out a few years ago) that persuaded me that they don’t actually believe it. Spain artfully interchanges the words “generation” and “contemporaries”. Contemporaries can overlap. Generations do not. But the scripture doesn’t say “this group of contemporaries”. It is a skillful, well thought out manipulation.

I do not believe any of the GB believe it anymore ,maybe one time in the early days ? but certainly not now.....Why?

The fact that they keep re-writing and changing facts about their early history.{ No organization does that unless they have things to hide } In fact I think you would be hard pressed to find any other organization that would stoop to that low level ,except maybe organized crime syndicates .
Their "New Light" is always a cover up of failed prophecy`s ,expectations ,evidently`s ,and whatever to cover their arse.
They are manipulative in their language and deliberately lie justifying it with there "Theocratic Warfare " strategy.
Not to mention the control over every aspect of a JW`s life ,including the type of clothes they wear when & where, what they do in the privacy of their bedrooms for married couples ,what entertainment they watch and even the music they listen too.
As well as dictating how many hours they should getting in the witnessing work and how many meetings they should be attending every week .
And also trying to control what is left of a JW`s critical thinking ability .

Mr. Splane talks about ''how hard it is for brothers to keep up with Jehovah's celestial chariot( changing doctrines).'' ''So are the Governing Body. We're not driving the chariot.''

The flip-flops and changing doctrines are not coming from the Governing Body but from Jehovah God.

Its quite simple really. if Jesus meant to say that this “generation”was an over lapping one, then he certainly would of said so, and you wouldn’t require a pointer and chart to prove it.
