no senior here yet, only 53, but Im always looking for my readers,

    I have 4 pair.

I live in a minimally furnished and quite organized three room apartment.....lol

I used to tease my mom for having so many pair.

omg, I am glad I am not the only on who does these things -- I am becoming so forgetful sometimes, and my energy depletes so quickly. Having the little grandkiddies over for even a couple hours leaves me so exhausted. Love them like crazy and marvel at their non-stop energy and enthusiastic embracing of life. They are like little human machines, all wound up and I feel like I am winding down....

Lately, one of my fears is: if, for some reason I become demented, I regress back to my JW brain!! That thought scares the heck outta me!

My top 10 list for Old:

#10. Everything hurts and what doesn't hurt....doesn't work.

#9. Your mind makes contracts your body can't meet.

#8. You sit in a rocking chair and can't get it started.

#7. Your knees buckle and your belt won't.

#6. The little grey haired lady you helped across the street is your wife.

#5. You can't remember the last time you lay on the floor to watch T.V.

#4. When you bend over to pick up something you look for something else you can do while your down there.

#3. People call at 9 p.m. and ask "Did I wake you?"

#2. You try to straighten out the wrinkles in your socks and discover your not wearing any.

#1 Your back goes out more then you do.

Thank you, dear, aging friends, all of whom should be enjoying vibrant life in The New World by now.

CC, who is shuffling languidly about this morning. Well, EVERY morning . . .
