"Negative gravitation. You may have wondered how accidents will be avoided in Jesus Kingdom since we are told nothing will hurt or destroy. Scientists tell us there is enough atomic energy in one fingernail to propell a battleship. The people of the future may carry some of this power with them. If they fell down an elevator shaft they can let themselves down easy...then turn some MORE ON and go back up. No danger of falling down stairs..."

Don't forget this was written under the direction of holy spirit.

But not inspired by holy spirit. There's a difference, you see!

That must be one of the most off the wall concepts every imagined by the Awake writing department, even surpassing the "organ recipient taking on the personality of the donor" idea that was put in print during the 1960's.

So much about Watchtower is just like the Matrix, so why not that too?

Jehovah(tm) does it all using magic.

Scientists tell us there is enough atomic energy in one fingernail to propell a battleship.

The bible says that Jesus did not have to fly because the angels were protecting him physically so he did not die on earth too soon.

But the WTS says that they do not protect jws as individuals today only as a group since the group's survival is all that is important.

Clayton Woodworth was deluded; I wonder what he had on Rutherford that kept him as editor on the Golden Age. My grandmother thought he was demonized and she never read the Golden Age.

Wow.....NO WONDER that the official site doesn't contain material from the early days of the society!

    That is plain embarrassing!

For any lurkers here, if you ever need more convincing about the "strange and unusual" teachings and foundations of the organisation, here is another to add to ones like, Beth sarim, Pyramid measuring to get to 1914 etc!
