Young Couple Stopped with Invitation

I had a young couple stop by yesterday to drop off an invitation to the Memorial. I told them I was a Bible student & had studied a number of religions. I got into all the hot topics. 1914, pedophile payoffs, overlapping generation nonsense, etc. I had them for a good 1/2 hour on my porch. The husband kept spouting the company line & the wife never said a word. As he realized he was just digging himself in deeper, he finally said a hurried good-bye. As they left, I encouraged them to ask questions. If what you believe is true, questions will only strengthen the truth. I feel bad that another young couple will waste their lives serving men.

We Called On You Today, To Tell You..

We`re Too Busy To Talk To You.......BYE!..

You know when they get back into the car, they feel sorry and judge you to the max.

The interesting thing is, we all feel sorry for them. They are stuck in a cult. You don't see it until you leave. That nagging little voice telling you something in the org is wrong. We don't have that little voice nagging us anymore. We have figured it's a cult.

Is it me, or are the witnesses staying at the doors longer whenever they encounter an "apostate"?

Witnesses are already doubting their "faith", and they don't even realize it in most cases.

...and they seem to want to try to convince others, really trying to convince themselves.

Good job. As I was walking past a parking lot on a busy atreet, I had JW's try to wave me over to their car as they parked in a good spot to begin their preaching. The passenger held what looked to be a Memorial Invite and got my attention. Even though I declined to step over, I sensed the joy of the car group that they had ifficialky started their time.
