I am new and have no idea what DUB stands for. Can someone please feel me in?

Dub is short for JW - Jay-dubya, which in turn is short for Jehovah's Witness.

Jehovah's Witness = JW = Jay DUB (elyew) = Dub.
"Dubs" or "Dubbies" are the correct plural forms of Dub. Also, do not get confused and use "Dud", although they are that as well!

Oh, dub is also a type of psychedelic Reggae music with very deep bass. Do not confuse the two. Do not go to a Kingdom Hall smoking marijuana expecting to listen to the Mad Professor or King Tubby. And do not go to a Dub Party with your Kingdom Melodies CD's. It's unlikely you will be welcome at either.
