Exactly.
To be perfectly clear, non-partisan, and honest - even the BLM riots during "the summer of love" weren't on the level of 9/11. And I think the BLM riots were exponentially worse than the January 6th riot. The capitol riot and 9/11 aren't even in the same book.
It is absolutely rediculous. -

That is apples and oranges. One was an act of outsiders while the other was an act of citizens.
I think that what happened with the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami was far worse than both of the above events. World Wars and plagues of history were far worse.
Whoever originated this thought of comparing these was probably attempting to minimize the Capitol Riot. -

Umm, the Capitol riot should be minimized when compared to what happened on 9/11. When Dems tell everyone this is worse than 9/11, honest people respond with the real truth, not the lie that Dems and the media try to push. Shame on them!

The two aren't even remotely comparable.
Having said that though, there doesn't seem to much awareness of how lucky those people are to be living today and not in a previous century.
