  Once upon a time. . . . I was given a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue as a gift. It was an outstanding blended whiskey.

  But as far as I'm concerned, nothing beats MacAllan 18. It is a remarkable scotch, and draws a remarkable price.

  Is there no love for Rum here?

  I found a rum in Cornwall called Three Sails. It was 80% but full of flavour and complexity. Only problem is I've never been able to find it again on subsequent trips.

  I am on the lookout for a well priced Goslings Family Reserve Rum. That looks quite special.
