    Those pictures are not the best artwork, even without the subject matter. 1966 headbands and ( gasp) beards, It was embarrassing to even let anyone see them, and we were supposed to highlight the covers at the door.

    People cant figure out that projects done with volunteers cost more than hiring contractors? There is no proof that the money claimed for support of missionaries or whomever is really spent, or how much goes to scotch

    Of course, presumably the original intent of the cartoon was to criticise neoliberalism in the face of climate change. (Sorry if that’s stating the obvious)

    Clever repurposing of the cartoon for a different context. However I think the original context remains more compelling or urgent.
