What I would like to know is why would the Nephilim materialise only as men ?

Why not materialise as women as well ?

Get the benefits of both worlds ?

Their were no gays ,transgenders ,etc, etc. among the Angels ?

    Just asking .

Another important question: is it possible to feel sexually aroused as a spirit being? I mean, they saw these human females and were driven to take on bodies of flesh (and how does THAT happen?) in order to have sex with them. Which spiritual chemicals were coursing through their spirit veins to create a desire so strong that they did something so foolish?

Whatever the case, we can only read and choose to accept it as truth or not. No person can prove or disprove this account upon the earth today. All we can do is express our own opinion, but in the end, no single person truly knows.

MYTH: a symbolic narrative, usually of unknown origin and at least partly traditional, that ostensibly relates actual events and that is especially associated with religious belief. It is distinguished from symbolic behaviour (cult, ritual) and symbolic places or objects (temples, icons). Myths are specific accounts of gods or superhuman beings involved in extraordinary events or circumstances in a time that is unspecified but which is understood as existing apart from ordinary human experience. The term mythology denotes both the study of myth and the body of myths belonging to a particular religious tradition.

Are dragons, mermaids, zombies, unicorns or the loch ness monster real? Why or why not?

"I suspect that the true temptation for the angels to come to earth and take wives was not because they were sexually attracted to the beautiful women. (Ge 6:2) Angels did not have sex with other angels. They did not reproduce. The angels that were in existence were a set number. They did not increase. (Ge 2:1-2) They were created by God through His Son. (Jn 1:3; Col 1:16) And since they did not reproduce God had no reason to give them a sex-drive, as earthly creation was given. (Ge 1:24-25) Angels do not have that built-in urge. (Mt 22:30) So it does not make sense that seeing beautiful women would trigger a desire that was not within them.

But humans do have something that some angels no doubt could have desired: The ability to create offspring through reproduction. Perhaps when they saw the daughters of men some angels were jealous of that beautiful ability that women provide. (Ge 6:2; Ps 127:3) So they took human form so that they too could father children of their own. (Ge 6:4) Note that they only fathered sons. If they only wanted to have sex then there probably would have been both sons and daughters. Or possibly even no children at all since if having intercourse with beautiful women was their only goal you would think that they would try to be discreet and not draw attention to what they were doing. But instead they produced the nephilim that caused havoc and drew attention. (Ge 6:4) Perhaps the nephilim were even the main cause of the violence that made Jehovah decide to flood the earth. (Ge 6:11-13)"

The Book of Jubilees claims the angels are circumcised. The JW view of non-corporeal, sexless entities is a modern innovation.

Genesis 6:2 says that they found the human women beautiful. One may interpret that as they wish, especially in light of a better understanding of sex and genetics. But I think it's a stretch to assume it was anything else, because there isn't anything in the text that we can extrapolate from.

Genesis 6:1-8 reads like a bit of a mash-up of two (or perhaps three) different stories or story threads. God's disillusionment with mankind is one of those threads, the 'sons of God' are a different thread. Taken in isolation, verses 2 and 4 tell a tale of how angels married human women and fathered sons who "were the heroes of old, men of renown." They do not sound like villains, nor does the text imply that they were the cause of God's consternation with mankind. The verses seem to be out of place.

Rules & Regulations - yes myths have zero basis in history and start 'once upon a time' or similar. Have you checked out how the Evolution myth of Darwin starts?

Also, your comment on the angels not having gender cause of biology. Biology means the study of life. God gave us life. He's worth studying. He has some fabulous ways. But if you disagree. Whatever. But do check out the name Gabriel. It is Hebrew and the meaning might surprise you.

    Biology

Definition: Biology is the study of life and living organisms. It includes the study of their structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, and distribution.

Also, your comment on the angels not having gender cause of biology. Biology means the study of life.

Since angels are spirit creatures, they cannot be considered biological. What are their structures? Humans are living organisms. Are angels living organisms?

    Anachronism:

The act of attributing a custom, event, belief or object to a period to which it does not belong.

The JW distinction between spirit vs biological beings is a modern belief that isn't accepted by all Christian religions even today.

How could angels procreate? Never made sense to me that they could become a human and have the ability to father children. Surely that makes them akin to a creator. Their DNA is presumably non existent and if it existed would be nothing like a humans so no way could they have children. If they could then why didn't half of them become men and the other half women and then they could fill the earth with fully angel offspring rather then hybrids.
