Wells in Africa and India. Clean water is taken for granted here. Find a charity that you believe in with good administration for a good portion of it and settle something for your grandkids education-just cause it would be a nice gift.

Please don't send it to the WTBTS.

Sell everything and give it all to the WT (aka JW.org) and go special pioneering!  This is a fine way to spend the few remaining years before Armageddon.

If you leave it to them maybe stipulate that it's only to be spent on university for themselves and their kids and only if and while they are attending uni they will receive further funds to support themselves and when they've finished uni they'll get the remainder of their inheritance.

Discuss your options with a financial planner. Set up trust funds for your kids and grandkids. Invest a portion wisely and grow the pot. Buy real estate, businesses, etc. generate and grow your cash flow.

Only spend half on fast cars and loose women.  The rest you should fritter away!

Seriously, children's and grandchildren's education has to be a priority.  Education is everything these days.

3 million is a nice chunk of change.     If handled properly it can make a difference for generations to come.      If handled poorly it can ruin generations to come.      Good luck and have some fun with it before you pass it on.

If you are in the US, should you die tomorrow, without a proper estate plan, the IRS will take 50% of your estate. It's notably called the death tax. Seek the assistance of a good financial estate planner.
