That is right-- Do not Pray for thier Families!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They had no business being up in the heavens anyway, the earth is

what Jehovah created for mankind,

Man has continued since the days of Nimrod to REACH INTO THE HEAVENS.

While I am sure many of you will disagree with the above statement,

sad to say in over 90,000 congregations of JW, Circuit Assemblies ,

 Special Assembly Days , perhaps not ONE SPEAKER; will pray in behalf

of these folks on sunday- beyond them coming to know; THE TRUTH

  My wife and i were discussing this jw mindset---and many of you

may recall how as a people we rarely had any feelings for folks like

this, we were often very cold, no feelings at all   how many times

have we heard of disaster striking somewhere, earth quake, flood, etc

and the first question out of the mouth of the avg jw is:

 "Were any bro hurt?"

and if the answer was --NO - at that point very little

 feeling or concern would be expressed toward those who were hurt.

  I was at Bethel when the shuttle blew up in the 80's and

during lunch not one word from the head table was expressed, no

concern for the millions of school kids who saw a teacher die, NO

concern for the folks who lost their lives, no expression of concern

for their families-

and while many here often felt compassion for such an event while

they were a jw---   many like myself --being a Society Man --

I  felt NOTHING,

yes wt had taken away my ability to show fellow feelings and this

is why such dogmas as Shunning works so well-

 we were taught how to not show any fellow feelings even for

our moms, dads, kids, etc

  many here who are DFed DAed can attest first hand to the

Cold Bloodied non- feeling THAT their families and former friends

show them each time they see them in the Mall, in the super market,

etc.

  someone asked the question on one of the threads here:

"Is there anything good about wt" - well the answer is No-

 for the entire foundation upon which the wt sits-- is built on a

lie -- WE SPEAK FOR GOD DON'T LISTEN TO US AND GOD WILL KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  A lie that has damaged so many millions of lives- so it is only

now that I have began to learn how to show feeling and concern for

 others,    we left in 1998 and it truly feels good to be able to be

 human-

as ray franz says for the first time in his life he could judge

 a person based on how this person treated him not whether he is a

 jw or not

 SO KEEP THE FAMILIES OF THE Astronauts IN MIND- SMILE--

PS...er I checked to see if any dubs are talking about the tragedy, on JW Zone, and well they are dude, and sentiments are kinda, like prayers going to families etc. So I guess not everyone accepts the propoganda From HQ? I never did, well maybe a little

Well, of course there would be no concern. A tragedy of this nature is merely a appetizer compared to the horrific deaths and devastating destruction that ole Jehovah has in store for them to witness "any day now".

Yes , i used to wonder about this attitude that if they were not jws, they may as well rot, who cares if they die. No wonder we accepted the horrible pics of death and destruction the societies art dept puts out without blinking an eye.When my aunt died, her bro, a jw, had the witness do a funeral for her. it was a pity funeral, they only did it for the bro. And i swear, all they basically said was -she lived, she died. B/c she was not a jw, her life had no vlaue, her death meant nothing. I got into a discussion with my active jw bro abut this, and i told him all life has value. We were talking about how our uncle, stayed there so no one would give her a transfusion, and my bro said (actually he laughed) who cares, she's nothing, jehovah doesn't know she exits. How can anyone be so haughty?

Gizmo, good to be back, i agree with you that on an indiviual basis a jw may express some type of sorry, but as i mentioned in some 90,000 congo, circuit assemblies and special assembly days i dare say that during the closing prayer there will be any expression in behalf of the family beyond perhaps THEY NEED THE TRUTH- SMILE
