    Jan,

You are so evil. How dare you quote the Watchtower exactly! You are obviously taking them out of context. I don't know how, but you must be. [8>]

So I'll quote from your "out of context" quote, haha.

It is high time for girls to understand the make-up of their bodies and its functions, especially with regard to sex.
Fine articles like this one sure help their understanding!

Skimmer, brilliant analysis of the society's "cause/effect" scare tactics. Welcome to the board. I can't wait to read more from you.

Right, this actual, real, accurate article from the Watchtower is hilarious.

When you realize it was actually intended dead seriously, and that its author actually thought he helped young people understand sex, it becomes absurdly ludicrous.

This masterpiece was undoubtedly written by Fred Franz, the theological leader of the JW movement from 1942 until his death. It is obvious to anyone who has ever had anything resembling a sex life, that poor old Freddie had not! Obviously, from reading books about bovine sexuality (one can assume), he "logically" concluded that what applied to the cow, necessarily applied to the human female.

    Again, quite funny.

However, fact is this man was actually the supreme leader for millions of loyal believers worldwide. They looked to this men to tell them how to function in their daily lives, down to the minutest details. The man had never had sex. He told millions how to have sex. He had no children. He told them how to raise children. He had no knowledge of family life. He decided how wives and husbands should behave, in what is arguably the most important and complex social relationship in existence. His words broke up families, tore children from parents and alienated friends and family from each other.

    Not so funny anymore.

Moral (if we can use such a word): The big problem for humanity is not evil. It is stupidity. Evil leaders can do much harm. Stupid leaders are disastrous. JW leadership are intolerably stupid, and the harm is correspondingly significant.

Hmmm. Yup, it's in there. I've got an almost complete library going back to 1950, and much of the stuff before. It only took about a minute to find.

As to the article --- (sigh)

If the boy friend should become sexually aroused and lets
her know it and then she yields her body to the advances of the
    amorous boy friend,

okaayy... no mention here that the female could be/would be sexually aroused or that SHE might be the one that makes the sexual advance!!

Prisca, still chuckling over "and lets her know it" - lol...

I have an ovum at large [..] Does this mean that when a female cow is in physical condition to breed that petting is allowed?
    Dear Ginny,

Cows that are not female are not cows.

    Dear Watchtower,
i have recently read the 1961 article on sexuality and how it relates to cows. it has brought to my mind a few questions that i humbly request your response.

    1. if the bull finds a willing cow should he wait until another bull says it is ok?
    2. if there is like one bull in a whole field of cows can he only be with one cow?
    3. if so, what would be the best explanation to give to the other cows when they had their "needs"?
    4. if not, would this not be considered fornication to have multiple cows and how would the bull be dealt with judically?
    5. if the cow becomes pregnaunt, would the bull be allowed any continueing liberties?
    6. would any variation be allowed when it comes to the actual sex act between the bull and the cow?
    7. if so, please provide instructions along with pictures so as to know how to not be in violation of bible principles.
    8. if a bull sticks his nose where he shouldn't, would that be considered porneia?
    9. what if the only bull is a real jerk, can the cows request a new bull to supply what is needed at the proper time?
    10. what if the bull is not attracted to the cows in his field can he exchange fields with another bull if it is mutually agreeable?

i would appreciate your response asap as many bulls and cows are going to be very frustrated until you provide the proper guidelines as to how follow bible principles.
    signed,
    buford bull

There are cases where a girl became pregnant as a result of one sex interview with a boy.

What the heck is a sex interview? Can a girl get pregnant just from asking questions about sex?

This article is hilarious, of course, but also disturbingly misogynistic. Women are blamed for not rebuffing the desires of men, and for having desires of their own. Essentially, the article says that men wouldn't even act on their sexual impulses ("approach the cow") if women weren't the craven, lust-driven hussies they are! The greater implication of the article is this: if the world is sex-crazy, it is because women have made it that way -- ignorant, stupid creatures that they are ("cows"), they must learn about the chaotic sexual oscillations of their nubile young bodies to prevent their voracious appetites from driving them into a wild frenzy of mad copulation ...

Well, it's another sexist male fantasy in which the sex object is both desired and despised.

Farm animals & young girls ... who knew Fred Franz was so kinky?

    Dedalus

P.S. Bulls & cows aren't monogamous, I don't think -- is there some kind of subliminal message in that?
