Just when I think I've heard the stupidest thing I could possibly hear, along comes something like this.
There is apparently no moral swamp too low for the JWs who will apparently wallow in anything.

YEAH! That's what I actually thought. I had trouble concentrating on the rest of the original post because I kept asking myself what in the name of heck "adultery in the hearth" can be!? Jeez, the reasons to get DF are really getting strange.
Who would want such cruel people around for your wedding? The people who you want to have at your wedding are there to witness your vows before God and man and support your life together.
If it's just the two of you (or the two of you plus children), I say elope. Take pictures. Send an announcement after the fact.
But it sounds like circumstances prevent you from doing that. How about a nice vacation afterwards? Send postcards to whoever, "Having lots of fun. Too bad you missed it." That sort of thing.
