WEATHER UPDATE!!
This just in from the Apostate Weather Bureau. Dallas is being attacked by an ice storm. Evidently a big blue thingie from the Great White North is paying us a visit and it's not just cold, it's damn cold. I even had to wear a coat today. However, by Friday the prediction, subject to change, is mid to upper 50s. Still pretty chilly but I guess it will have to do.
And now I ajourn to go put on some long pants. I already miss my shorts!
Ok it was -3 today...and that was the HIGH...WITHOUT WINDCHILL FACTORED IN!!
So I want to hear nothing of this "chilly" mid-50's talk...cripes...that's swimmin weather where I'm from!!

you aint just wistling dixie, it was damn cold today, 35 below windchills and everything,
it aint fair if a gal gets all nipply in the cold its a good thing but shrinkage is all bad.....
so i be wearing 2 pairs of thermal undies to work tomorrow..
Okay, for those staying at the Bradford:- some info about the rooms
The rooms are very nice !!!
There is a hair dryer in the bathroom
Iron and ironing board
alarm clock
dishwasher with detergent provided
There is a coffee maker in each room with a basket with powdered creamers and sugars etc. The coffee maker is a very small 2 cup one so if you are making a trip to the grocery store you might want to pick up some extra 2 cup filter packs if you drink alot of coffee. They will replenish if you let them clean your room.
There is an outdoor pool open till 10 pm and a jacuzzi open 24/7
There is a safe deposit box- Hey- Heaven, you can put your tiara in there !!!
Now- the most important thing about your room at the Bradford:
When you enter your room- go to the freezer and flip the lever to turn on the ice maker !!!! They don't have ice machines at the hotel and about the time you figure that out and turn on the ice maker, you will be waiting for ice. THAT can't be good for anyone !!! So turn it on right away !!!
Can anyone else who stayed there remember anything I haven't mentioned here?
