Well, gang, Big Tex, Lin, puertogerm, Jesika and her mom, and I made a preliminary run to a Trail Dust 'way out in the country to celebrate Lin's wedding this past Saturday, and I can tell you we are going to have a wonderful time!!! I forgot how good those steaks were, and the dancing was fantastic! I was totally monopolized on the dance floor by my 6-year-old son, who approached dancing with his mother with great seriousness and careful footwork. And I still remember how to do the Cotton-Eyed Joe! I think we might have a few husbands and boyfriends joining the throng, now that they got to socialize with a few of us apostates on Saturday night and realized we are just folks.
For die-hard Tex Mex fans, there ARE quesadillas on the menu.
As for Troll Boy and the kilt, well, we'll have to save a few surprises, won't we?

So who is bringing the kids???????????? I am planning on leaving mine at the Grands. But if unforseen occurances happen ( which with our crazy family) just might, I will let you know Val.
We brought them last time and they stayed awhile to visit and were ready to go back to the room. I had to be resourcefull and bring them their playstations, toys, books, coloring books, food, etc. But they would like the Trail Dust place if we have to bring them,,,,,BUT after midnight my little ones will just have to go to the room to entertain themselves like last time,,,,,,,,,, I would like to continue my really bad association late into the night.
Hey Cruzen , I just started learning how to do the cotton eyed joe,,,,,,,( the bullshit song, at the club..........that's how we do it there. But I still have trouble gettig my feet in the right direction .lol.
