The GB will never see justice. Unless something happens like in Sherlock season 3 episode 3.

    Which isnt likely.

Well how many of us thought that they would have a Royal Commission inquiry into the JW child abuse problem? It caught me by surprise and was totally blow away at the dirt they uncovered. So I hold out hope that things are changing not in the Governing Body's favor legally.

But what will the commission do? Investigate and make recommendations? Whooptydoo

throw them in jail. Jackson should have been found guilty of inciting the protection of sex predators and the emotional abuse of millions and thrown in prison without the possibility of parol.

But this wont ever happen. Because they have no actual dirt on the GB. Just like there was no actual dirt on the villain in that episode of Sherlock.

    @ Jonathan Drake...

First of all, they can compile and publish all the instances where WT reps (including Jackson) disseminated, prevaricated, and downright lied under oath during questioning, which will have an impact...

...and more importantly, they can indeed make legislative recommendations to address the problem on a nationwide level, that the Aussie government will very likely implement (seeing as how the Aussie government commissioned the Commission in the first place)...

...and if the WTS either refuses to follow said legislative changes, or pledges to but doesn't follow through (the two likeliest outcomes, given what we know about the Org), then the WTS - in Australia, at least - will be liable for a right good legal smacking, in the form of fines*, loss of tax-exempt status, or further legal unpleasantness.

*The Org didn't just require all the Australian Branch's money to be sent to the US for no reason, after all.

When did this happen, is there a letter someplace?
