A very special anniversary.

It's a bit early but as we are leaving town I had no choice but to do this now.

Sunday is Mulan and Big Red's fortieth wedding anniversary. They were kind enough to want to share the celebration with their family so we are going to Hawaii with them tomorrow for two weeks!

We have something special planned for them. It's a surprise so you'll have to wait for Mulan's update via her laptop sometime Monday.

Wish I had a wedding picture to show you. They were awfully cute.

and here we are 39 years later.............couldn't find one more recent.

Both of us are a bit pudgier...............hahaha. Thank you, Grandma, for the neck.

Thanks, Joy. Geeezzzzzzzzz, we were SOOOO young. What our my parents thinking, letting us get married so young? Mine actually encouraged it. We had to meet with Dave's parents to convince them................we had to have a parent sign for us to get married at that age, back in 1962.

At least we lasted..........I can say that much. Mom still takes credit for it. But then she would.
