I am sad to announce the silentlambs discussion forums will be terminated as of midnight Sunday. The original purpose of the forums was to be a positive place for abuse survivors to interact, sadly the most active topics have been those that were negative. It takes much time and effort to run a forum and if that was our only job it would be hard at best. When we have to balance the media and court cases that are being prepared for along with the needs of abuse survivors it is a load that cannot be managed properly. Something has to give that this seems the most logical place to start.
If you have something you want to save off the comments you can cut and past what you wish most of the relevant information will be transferred to the website. For those who wish to communicate the guestbook can be used for that purpose and we will endeavor to watch it more closely than in the past. We appreciate the kind support of those who registered and encourage you to continue to check the sl website for the lastest information on abuse.

And I do hope that Bill will post here on JWD again, and that he will not be harassed and childishly dogged over what is generally accepted was a mistake. There is no malice whatsoever in Bill. He has been brave and done a lot of good. Makes him stand out. Cut him slack, please, if he does come back here. I'm sure no one really wants my "analogy" and "parable" threads to resurface: glass houses and stones. Who knows what might fall out of the tree.
Together we can beat the WTS. Let us do this, right?
