Just getting Started..

Hi everyone........I love this site...!!!
I just recently found it...and it feels so good to hear
people talk about things that have been buzzing around in
my head for "Years"...!!!

I guess for me the "Final Straw" was about 4 years ago...
when our CO..got on the platform and told us that we could
no longer include... "We send you our Love" in our
prayers..!!!! Don't know if all cong. got that, or just
our own...here in the "Sticks". But, that just went all
thru ME... how dare they tell us what to say in our
personal prayers.... UGH..

Lol......no, I haven't. But, I did ask an Elder about
it after the meeting..and he turned all red in the face
and kinda laughed and said..

"Well, that's what the CO said to do, so we have to abide
by that"

I still don't think it was right, Oh Well...

Sure, gotta love the "CO's"....had one one time that I thought
was the biggest "Pompus A**", because he would tell us to do
something...like turn up the heat or such...and follow that
with... "Because, GOD says so" But, went out in service
with him...and he really was a nice guy... sorta felt bad about
my thoughts about him...but, really... calling himself "God"
that was just too much.

Thanks for the Welcome....got so much going on in my head..You
All have probably already discussed most of it....hate that
I missed it.... (You All....LOL...shows how "Hick" I am)

No, you didn't do anything wrong, it only happens when you send a good post! It's never happened to me...I wonder why?

We had a couple of COs who beat the crap out of the congregation during visits, with egos larger then a camel's bladder. The jerk telling you how not to pray really did you a favor because it caused the Tower's house of cards to crumble. I'm convinced some JWs help more believers leave the Tower than any ex-JW could ever hope to do. Glad you found this site--hope you enjoy it.

Hi JAVA....

I like your name also.....I would be interested in hearing
why you like "Casper".
I chose it since I am suppose to be spiritually dead, and it
seemed appropriate. At least I am a "Friendly Ghost" LOL..

Funny, I don't feel spiritually dead...but, like I said in the
New Friends posting area... I am in Limbo...on all that. Not
sure what is real and what isn't. Sure would like to re-claim
my brain.

I truly do believe in the Bible..I DO..I believe that everything
it says will come true...with or with-out me. But, I have a lot
of trouble believing things that come from Men, trying to control
my every movement, thought, and feeling.
