Is this legal?

If a former JW decided to put on a suit and tie and go door to door trying to place old WT magazines and books they had laying around, and asking for a small donation, but using the proceeds to buy beer, is that illegal in any way? I figure they at least owe me a beer.

Unforetunately, Iron, I think you'll have to be knocking on a LOT of doors to get a donation. Did you ever really get one when you were a jw?

I rarely asked for a donation...just didn't feel right. But when we were charging for them I was kept in coffee and donut money

    Funny how that worked, huh?

Yes that is the problem, the second we started asking for donations instead of asking for money-the householder could figure it out-i can have this free if i want it-so why pay?

My fav beer- Killians Red a good irish beer.
