It's a little expensive, but you should go to the spa at the Bellagio and buy one their bath robes. I got my two daughters one apiece and I'm so generous, that I even bought one for my ex-wife. Forget the price, this is luxury that you can wrap around yourself for years to come.

And when you see the porn pioneers out front of every casino, making annoying clicking sounds and handing out literature, just walk on by without making eye contact. Have fun, and keep an eye on your boyfriend, he might get lost for a few hours.

Wow Jes! More fun times coming your way, eh? It's been 25 years since I was in Vegas and it was only for a weekend. Three of us skipped town during Xmas (when I was living in Colorado) and drove straight thru to Vegas, taking turns driving. My girlfriend and I were snoozing, it was late at night, and "Coach" was driving and he woke us up when we were about 10 miles outside of Vegas to show us the "GLOW" over the city, due to the ENORMOUS amount of lights in Vegas. So if you drive, and it's nighttime as you approach and/or depart the city, check out the "GLOW." It was unbelievable (and there can only be MORE lights by now!)

We went straight to the Vegas Hilton late that night when we arrived, as that's where Coach's friend worked, so the first night we stayed there all night playing slot machines. I don't know if this is still the case, but back then all the hotels will give you free booze if you are gambling. Coach went to the gaming tables, and my girlfriend and I played the slot machines (it's very addicting, and will make your arm sore from pulling the lever a thousand times), and took advantage of all the free White Russians. LOL!

Then we slept most of the next day (stayed at Coach's friend's house), and then went to the Benihana Japanese restaurant back at the Hilton for dinner, It was gorgeous, waterfalls, etc. And after that went to the MGM Grande for a (freebie) "T&A" show (that's what Coach called it), with Siegfield and Roy and the animal show. Stayed up all night again playing slot machines, and the next day went to Circus Circus. I don't remember much else, except that everything was dirt-cheap back then, and the dry weather was great, as we spent some time out by the pool at the house we were staying. I did see Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, but I think that was on another trip. Been so long ago...

Whoever wrote that Vegas in the day time is completely different -- SO TRUE! I remember thinking that, too. It kinda looked Yukky in the day time, but all those lights at night -- Wow! -- it'll blow your mind.

Have a great trip! And glad to hear the job is going so well!
    Grits
