I'm sorry, but this reviewer is a freakin moron!!!

Actually, if you look above that paragraph, you'll see that this is a "

Book Description submitted by the publisher SafeHaven," not a review. Just a claification.

The book is not listed in the English book section at amazon.de

Don't stop pressure amazon.com to take it off the list.

An Amazon.com staffer has already submitted this review:

Is there such a thing as a legitimate sexual relationship between an adult male and an underage boy? Most civilized people would answer emphatically "no," and Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers won't convince them otherwise. Defensive in tone and amateurishly produced, this monograph uses both pseudo-scholarship and anecdotes in its attempt to justify its target audience's actions and feelings. -- Christopher Hart

Apparently Amazon.com has the "librarian's virus" -- they value free speech above almost everything else.

I have a feeling that stricter censorship laws in Germany might be keeping it off the German mirror site.

I just did a search at Barnes and Noble and they do not have this author. A search under "pedophilia" brought up only types that seemed to highlight the criminality and mental aberrations of it.

I am very glad to hear that Barnes and Noble has some Moral and Ethic responsibility, as opposed to Amazon selling ANYTHING just to get money.

News Flash everyone, I just inquired with B&N and they stated publicly( even on the O'Reilly Show on Fox ( apparently someone is doing a possible law suit against Amz.com due to their pratices of selling this type of smut.) that if someone requested that book by name and author they would order it for them. So in otherwords they would technically provide the same service as Amazon.

I highly suggest we contact people who supply product to them and ask them do they know the practices of Amazon.com .. from the video companies to toys that Amazon.com sells.

In my book it is like they might as well sell child porn when they do something like this. It opens a door for justification of this type of behavior. An this is not right. ( I hope that came out right I am tired and need sleep).

I would suggest that you don't just 'not buy' from them - it's important to let them know that you don't intend to buy from them and why. This will put commercial pressure on them to change as it won't make financial sense to loose all these other sales just to seel some crap book.

It would be nicer if they would change based on something other than financial reasons though.

    Yea Simon :

I agree with you but they are not going to change unless they are forced too. Unfortunately the reply ( which I posted) tells me they are not going to bend on this issue. Unless it effects thier $$$ which is sad.

For anyone who wants to Call Amazon.com and complain:

Hmmm... I think this picking on Amazon.com is kinda silly... If you have a problem with the message in the book, then speak out about it and make your own case as to why the book is rotten. This sounds like a knee-jerk reaction to me. Has anyone here even read the book?
