Ok, waiting...I will let her know. My Dad lives in MO, but has a condo near Garden City. Maybe she can stay there and and try to see you guys. She's 28. She doesn't have an email addy. God, knows, all of her witness friends have abandoned her. She has no one to even talk to. Her husband is a jerk. (He was never a witness)

Thanks so much for doing this. I wish I could go. Old Andrews.....eeeeccchhhhhh......I don't miss that place at all.

Hey Tat,

We've emailed since your post - hope the girls talk together "mutually upbuilding conversations" - damned WT language!

The infamous Georgetown paper mill? Still there, but the smell's gone down a tad. I know the local attorneys are looking to sue them bigtime for the rust nightmare all over Georgetown.

I'll send infor. on gathering to you along with others who are interested. Actual address & phone numbers, etc.

This is how the MB Apostafest & Shaggin' is shaping up so far: FINAL UPDATE!!!!!

The place: Deercreek on Deerfield Plantation

Week of Nov 3 (5pm) through Nov. 10 - Sunday, check out 9am

Apostafest on Saturday, Nov. 9. 2 pm till whenever - at the condos. Actually, no set time, a lot of us will come in Thurs/Fri. Several of us went together & rented the condos, and there's still some room for a couple of more apostates. If you're interested in staying there, please email me for further info?

Condos are 1500 to 2000 square feet and open to pool, all next to each other ----- so there's plenty of room.

DIRECTIONS: - As supplied by resort - blame them

The resort is four miles south of the MB city limits. The nearest airport is MB Intnl Airport, 7 miles away.

From the AIRPORT, take HWY17 BYPASS South 6 miles to HWY544 Exit.

At the end of exit, turn left at third light.

Turn right onto HWY17 BUSINESS and merge right onto the service road parallel to the Hwy.

Enter Deerfield Plantation on the right, just past Wachovia Bank. Follow the main road to Deercreek Road, turn right and continue to the security gate.

From the SOUTH, take HWY 17 NORTH to Surfside Beach, turn left into Deerfield Plantation, between Denny's & Wachovia Bank.

Your welcome to all the main office or condos for directions (men can just drive around for a couple of hours watching the sun's direction...[humor])

Where do you live? If you don't start your new job..........mosey on up/over/down/across. Would love to meetcha.

I can take some of the prettiest pictures of flowers - and that's it. I buy those Kodak disposable cameras and just marvel at the pictures I turn out - as compared to the ones my husband takes on his expensive camera.

I made the mistake of telling (actually flaunting) him this fact. His response? "Do you realize just how much each one of those pictures cost you? No? Figure it out. That's why your pictures are so good - they put idiot film in there. Any idiot can take a good picture with that film - that's the idea."

I didn't appreciate that..........but I do take marvelous pictures.

But not of people. I'll let someone else do that!
