Jehovah's Witnesses were the first people on the scene at the World Trade Center and escorted many people to safety. ~~ Mark 16

Anyone else catch this? Hello Hello is anyone home Mark? Gathering from your comments on the thread below you really need to start thinking of your own accord and research the religion you so blindly follow.

Blah, blah, blah, one-sided reporting, blah, blah, blah, The Catholic church, blah, blah, blah, disguntled X-witnesses...

Talk to a "real" elder. They tried and he wasn't talkin. Neither is the WTS. For me, their silence is deafening.

    Andee

P.S. to Cassi: I read that too. I'm sure he culled that information directly from The Watchtower magazine and we know how reliable it is.

I just love the ones who post saying, "I'm not a Jehovah's Witness, but some of my friends are, and these are the most wonderful people on earth." Could they be any more transparent?

I also liked the comment from the JW who said in one sentence that Jehovah's Witnesses were free to have blood transfusions if they wished, and then went on to state that when people join a group, they know the rules and agree to follow them, like the rule against having a blood transfusion.

I know that doublespeak is a trademark JW trait, but usually they're just a little more subtle about it.

Amazing nonsense, most of those forum letters. Don't they realize that one of the reasons the organization is getting so much flack is because they keep telling people how much BETTER they are than everyone else? Maybe if they behaved a little more like Judge Rutherford, who said "well, I made an ass of myself" after one of the end times date flub-ups, then people would cut them a little more slack. And as for that totally stupid remark about the World Trade Center, it was announced at my hall (the one with the 15-year-old registered sex offender in it, but that's another story) very proudly that when the first plane hit the World Trade Center the brothers at Bethel were ordered to close the blinds on the windows and get back to work. Now that's a loving attitude. They started handing out spaghetti and Knowledge books when people started coming across the bridge. I think J.R. Brown needs to find out who the Pope's using for PR these days . . . .

    My personal favourite:

I didn't watch the programme... but as one of Jehovah's Witnesses I have never know of one child being abused in 25 years.
That's great, DUMBASS... you didn't watch the program, but you feel compelled to post your comment ABOUT THE PROGRAM that you did NOT watch.

Looks like this, uh, person, forgot that he is supposed to "get both sides of the story" before forming an opinion. At least that is what he was supposed to learn (see http://quotes.jehovahswitnesses.com/verify.htm).

I'll give him 100% for honesty, and 0% for social skills.

They should start doing movie review like this:

Q -- "What did you think of Star Wars Episode Two?"

A -- "Well, I didn't see the movie, but let me talk about it at length because I am an expert on having my head up my ass and like seeing myself on TV, and assume that this give me credence to talk about things with which I am completely unfamiliar...."

Witnesses I have never know of one child being abused in 25 years.

Which is just said even if you take this part of the comment alone.

I've been in the org. Child abuse is RAMPANT. But, no one 'knows of one child being abused' because they pretend it isn't happening.

'Oh, that Brother Pedofreak! Always up to some zany antics with the kids - don't mind him, he's just being affectionate!'

And, of couse, we all know EXACTLY what happens if someone starts to suspect he is anything more than 'just being affectionate'.

Not sure who disgusts me more - the sh*theads who do that to children or the dipf*cks that pretend nothing is happening.

They printed my comments too (and Bill Bowen's). They corrected my spelling, to make it British style.

I watched your programme on my computer, and am extremely impressed. Thank you for devoting your entire program to this very serious problem within the Jehovah's Witnesses religion. They are a group, who believe that this kind of thing cannot happen within their God-Protected world, and if the remote possibility were to happen, they are proud to say it is taken care of within the ranks. Thank you for exposing that they DO NOT. I am a grandmother, but as a Jehovah's witness child, I was molested by a man in our congregation. I know of at least 15 other girls he molested before FINALLY the elders believed us. You have done a great service.

Now I'm waiting for the follow up forum to be online. It says it will be up shortly.
