    Unbelievable!

I really cannot believe it. If this happenned it was an abberation.
And Wendy's post was even more unbelievable.

Unfortunately, Roykaye, everything 'unusual' that happened to all of us was described as just an abberation.

It's not until those one or two people that had the exact same experience find each other, do we know that 'abberations' are more common than previously thought, LOL.

In Psychology it's called Consensual Validation, and I believe this board is *chock full* of "Consensual Validators".

PS, mommy, I know it is not a UL, I believe I know where this happened (remember you and I were raised about 45 minutes apart).

mommy where did that happen, and when? That's fascinating, once I almost kicked over the traces myself that way.

    Xandit,
How did I know you would poke your head into this one? Kinda the same way I know that you hardly ever have a common thread with any one else on this board
    LDH,
You are so right thank you for validating this one! It happened in Rochester NY about 10-13 years ago. Exact day I can't remember, but I do remember where I was sitting in the stadium. And the hush that grew over the crowd was Amazing! As it turned out the rumour at the time was he did pass aout and needed medical attention, I know personally he was escorted outside and sent on his way.
What great lengths they go to silence others views huh? Don't you think Xandit? You know what else I heard? They actually plant people on known ex jw boards, to downplay the real experiences that others have had with the org. Scary thought don't you think?

Mommy, I was also at the War Memorial auditorium when it happened.

Were you ever in attendance at any of the DC in Niagara Falls when the Apostates took over the stage several times? My dad was a stage attandant at one particular DC (the one with the drama about Moses--my uncle was Moses) and during the prayer on Sunday for the keynote address, an 'apostate' was hurrying toward the stage (some effort to commandeer the mic and spread 'seeds of evil,' LOL).

My aunt noticed movement, saw what was happening and yelled to my dad, "Stop him!" (during the prayer, mind you). Poor guy never saw it coming. He got jacked by an ex-Marine/ex-cop/uber-elder, ROTFLMAO.

Side note on that drama, my 6 year old neice did not like it one bit when her uncle "moses" got dragged away by 'Pharoah's men' and she yelled out 'You LEAVE HIM ALONE!' That was so funny. Come to think of it, that was one of the most interesting conventions I ever went to.

Please read my new post "if you have children" and comment.

just curious about your reply to this thread mommy..........You said you were in attendance at this DC and the PO...not sure what PO is at a DC???.....sorryjust asking, not saying it isn't true mind you. I was just curious who the PO is??The reason I ask is....Was it your PO at the local Cong level??Or was it a Po of another Cong that you knew?Usually the top brass at a DC is the Convention Chairman.

Not questioning you, just want to understand....
by the way love your posts...:)

    Hey AuSet,

Is there anyone with a connection to any higher-ups at the WBTS? If so, they may be able to verify my story. They had probably known for years about the after sessions parties but been unable to find concrete evidence that this was going on.

To find concrete evidence by accident is not necessary. Anyone (even told to) could have written a note, dropped it into the trash, then another (even told to) pick it up, and Voila! - concrete evidence. All staged - and to the tee - accurate.

Remember the article about Catholics being so upset about being told they could eat meat on Fridays? Come on.....we had wanted to (and did) eat meat on Fridays since I was old enough for hotdogs. Imho, an obviously planted article. And how could anyone prove otherwise? No actually people were named - just some people some where.

Imho, the WTBTS is great at fabricating when the need is called for - they don't have to rely on concrete evidence, particularily about downgrading parties.

    Nice to meet you.

Yes, I must have heard the one about the "two sisters call on psycho which the police are watching but let people call on anyway (?) and when asked why they didn't kill the sisters say 'there were two big guys behind them' oh wow, they must have been angels" one from the platform lots of times.
Amazes my how people ooh and aah instead of shouting "bullshit!"...
The society lives on urban myths - you leave the truth? the next time you go to a bar you will be stabbed by the boyfriend of the loose woman you chat to...

    Simon:

I just had a crazy mental image of 2000 Jehovah's Witnesses all simultaneously shouting "bullshit" after the speaker finishes an experience. LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

On another subject: this morning I woke up in the bathtub which was full of ice. I'm starting to feel a little unwell. Does anyone know what might be going on?......

    To Mommy,
Your story sounds believable except for the fact that
PO's dont handle the final talks at DC's. DO's do.
