I have been fading for six years now. I only continue to do the minimum to keep my family together and to keep association with close friends. I would like to hear your experience and how you are getting along. After all there is comfort in knowing that others are going through the same as you are. Thanks in advance to all who contibute.

    Hi Chris

I was a JW about ten years ago. I let myself fade away after realisng some things. Im now a follower of Jesus Christ and surrendered myself to follow him alone. What has been shown to me in my search for him is that he dwells within us. This is the mystery of the ages revealed to the gnetile sin the 1st centruy. "Christ in us " the hopeof GLory. I also recognise the bible is awritten testimony about Christ but does not give you life.It is the inner testimony of him in us that gives life. He said he would come and live in all those who bleeive on him. Many are testifying about this realization as they step out of mans religion and into Christ alone. He will manifest himself to all within them. I hope you might cometot his realization on your journey.Peace and love ot you. Please check out my yutube channel if you want where i and many other sshare the revelaingif Christ within .

Hi Chris, fading is also putting out feelers into reality, real life, and that means leaving the comfort of a false hope that always pictured a rosy future. So while the future will see advances, it has that uncertainty ., and wt bashing is a defensive and not positive activity. If one is faing, that will not go un noticed in the congregation, and can result in more negative, depending on your status in the community.

fading is very rewarding though, on a sunny service-free satur day

Though im not a quaker George fox who was a quaker in the 17th century was persecuted by the churches and many quakers were murdered by them for this. Its afascinating sit ethat have all george foxes letters about the KIngodm within

I do not bleong ot anychurhc as i recognise the true churchcannot be seen andnot made with human hands and not not with bricks and mortar. Many of us recognise this and share with each other on youtube. Father does not dwell in anything physical he dwells within man. This was his purpose and plan right from the beginning. I ttookme over ten years to come to understand all these things.Your path may be different.

The written testimony has lots about Christi n us

There are many Scriptures which establish that it is Christ in us which saves us, for He is unending Life. No one is saved apart from Him living in them, since He is the only Savior. And we are not regenerated or "born anew" spiritually until He comes into us by His Spirit. But with Him in us, we are even now in the Kingdom, within.

    John 6:54-56
"Whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal Life, and I will raise him up at the last Day. For My Flesh is food indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed. He who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood abides in Me, and I in him."

    John 14:19-20
“A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you."

    John 15:3-5
"You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

    John 17:22-23
"And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are One: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in One, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me."

    Romans 8:9
"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His."

    2 Corinthians 4:8-11
"We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the Life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the Life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh."

    2 Corinthians 13:5
"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified."

    Galatians 1:15-17
"But when it pleased God, Who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles..."

    Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the Life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me."

    Galatians 4:19
"My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you..."

    Ephesians 3:14-17
"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from Whom the whole Family in Heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith...".

    Philippians 3:7-8
"But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for Whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ..."

    Colossians 1:27
"To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

    Colossians 3:9-11
"Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the Image of Him Who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all."

"For this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all long-suffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting Life."

    Hebrews 3:14
"For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end..."

    1 John 3:24
"Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit Whom He has given us."

"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He Who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."

    1 John 4:12-16
"No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him."

    1 John 5:11-12
"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal Life, and this Life is in His Son. He who has the Son has Life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have Life."

    2 John 1:9
"Whoever continually transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.

Thanx. How can we really know that these verses are talking about Christ literally in each believer and not meaning being absorbed with imitating Jesus in all we do,thus being in him figuratively speaking. Example: the influence and spirit(his motivational force) of a mentor is in his mentored?

Jesus is a myth so he can be whatever you want even non existent.

I think Jesus wears red sandals. Prove me wrong.

Christianity is, it exists, but that does not mean it has any cosmic value.

If there is no talking snake, there is no fall, no sin. we die because all entities in the Universe die. it is normal.

If we are normal, we do not need redemption, or a redeemer.

The remedy for the redeemer is to see for what it is, a concoction to conserve the in-come of the controllers.

yes good point Chris . Christ is a spiirt and it ishis spirit thatdwells within us.He said himself he and the father will come and make their home in us. The spirit of life flowing in us and us in him..All in union .Fused together as one. If it is your desrie to surrender to him alone. Then hehimself will teach you all thingsasyou keep seeking kocking and asking. Your understanding iscorrect we have adesire tob elike him. He give sus that desire. The work he doesin usis tostrip away all the layers that have been placed upon us by man and our experiences in the flesh. He replaces those withthe newness of lifea newway of seeing the world and walking in the pureness . He does manifest himself inmany ways to different people some have a visible manifestation of him. to them. Many have himreveal hismelf within us.
