please guys---how do i stop these damn pop up pages?
everytime i click on something---another page pops up---often blank.
i'm running firefox and google chrome---with adblock plus on both. i recently uninstalled and re-installed both--which got rid of a lot of probs.
any advice welcome--but please remember i'm a 66 year old puter-thicko--still dunno what a key board is. so--not too much nerd-speak.
Reset them to defaults and see how that goes...

Check for malware if you have not done so for a long while too.

Well I'm 64 and still working with Windows XP.
The best free thing I ever downloaded as a system fix is called Advanced System Care 7.4

I hope I still get pop-ups once in a while when I'm 66.
komando dot com has advice for the mac users, and also lots of good advice for PC users. She has plenty of free downloads. I love her saturday radio show. She ( Kim Komando) calls herself the "Digital Goddess". ha! Be sure to spell it right, if you use a c instead of a k, watch out!
Anyway, I have relied on her site through the years and even joined as a member recently.

No, they are PC only, I've never had to clean a mac so far
