A lot of Christians want to know what to say to JWs who come to their door.

Not knowing, they just say, "I have my religion. Goodbye."

The JWs feel duly persecuted, kick the dust off their feet, and move on to the next door.

Maybe you could ask how members share the gospel of grace with those who come knocking?

All one need do is ask a simple question:

"What is the gospel in one word?"

That is exactly how our family found "the truth of the Good News" and left the lie.

Sounds like you are being used, to me. I would say, get up there and say "Shit happens" and that is life and then sit down.

Born again Christians do not have a clue as to how to

effectively talk to or reach JW's. They always do lame

things like trying to scare them with Hellfire, or asking

them if they think they are going to go to heaven when they

die, or asking them if they have accepted Jesus as their saviour.

And the witness is standing there like a deer in the headlights.

Tell them what woke you up and try to put it in context they

might be able to use with any JW they know. That would be

    helpful to them.

So how does it work- you stand up and say your former imaginary god was no good but your current imaginary god is ok?

designs - I am puzzled by the lumping of God in with the bogus

and absurd "governing body" and their sect of "organization"

worship. Literally billions of people on earth today, and 2.4 billion

are Christians, and over 1.3 billion Muslims, would disgaree with

you designs. Are you quite sure you are as enlightened as you

imagine yourself to be ? It your imaginary view of this universe ?

Based on your extensive education in video games and internet searches ?

Do you really think you are qualified to determine what is real and what

    is not real ?

I went to a church for a while and would of loved the opportunity to tell them of my experience and what to say to jw at the door and to warn them of the cult. Stillmay do it some day.

I'm going to highlight how welcome and relaxed I feel at church.

I can be my true self.

No one demands anything of me; no 100% meeting attendance, study, field service or assemblies.

We do nice stuff and everyone is included, no cliques.

    No GB.

Let's see vg- 4 billion people believe in a personal supreme entity, talk to it/him daily, and I'm supposed to be impressed. You're kind of an easy pus-over...

I remember clearly a Sunday Service at a Calvary Chapel Church (attended as I was fading) and watched two Pastors pray over a young woman, maybe 18, who they were sending to China to smuggle in Bibles because somehow they bought into the fantasy that the Chinese needing the "Saving Grace of Jesus in their hearts".

    And I'm the delusional one....right :D
